Default My XT-500 project

Hey guys, I'm a golf cart noob. I was looking for a CHEAP golf cart to use at work and I found this thing for $300. Its a 90' xt-500. The guy didn't know if it ran because the batteries were shot and all the wires were corroded. I put some batteries in it and remade all the wires and the thing runs like a champ.

I used it at work for a week and couldn't stand the paint job, so I gave it a new one. I also recovered the seats. I'm a welder/fabricator so I have a lot of project ideas for the future.

That's a great color for that cart.

Probably make my own lift kit for it.

Put those fabrication skills to work. I had to build my own lift there wasnt one tall enough for what i wanted.
make sure you check out others threads an what they have done. or do a search on lifted marathons, thats pretty much the same platform that you have.
