New Home for the Run Tow
Been putting this off for several weeks while enjoyed the new plumquick motor and all my new found power.
$2.27 later at home depot, I found a shallow blue plastic box and a metal solid cover. Drilled the hole in the middle and mounted switch. Routed the molex connector through one of the knock outs in the back. A little double sided tape and a couple of labels top and front and voila. It fit right in hole - almost like it was made for it. Cable lenght off top of controller was perfect as well. First thing that I've done on this cart that went smoother than I could have imagined. Guess I was due! Hopefully no one hear will find fault with my simple fix - it was just hanging down. Figured this wasn't water proof but has to be mostly splash proof. I don't get it wet, but I am sure there will be instance where I am caught off guard. |

Re: New Home for the Run Tow
Sorry - I had to remove the stock cover for the new upgrades to the contoller and solenoid.
Thanks Scottyb. |

That's so much nicer than having the switch rap tied to the wiring harness!

Re: New Home for the Run Tow
Thanks all. I spent a while trying to make this more complicated than it was. Shopping for custom boxes online. Dreaming of having our fab shop make one up etc. 5 minutes in HD and 10 in the shop. Done.
Glad I was able to get out of my own way. I am sure it will be short lived. |
