We have 3 carts all with the same problem,when you pull on the headlights you loose the station and get static,one will do it on hard acceleration.They have both hidden antennas that are grounded to the negative side of the 30 amp reducer,one does have a pole antenna.We have gone to a separate battery and still have the same problem.Check yours with headlights and if you figure it out please post..Dave

Mine was had no static until I turned the headlights on. Swapped to led headlight bulbs and it went away. I think the 55w bulbs were pulling too much current for the amplified antenna

Hey Tigerman,did a little reading on a radio forum,what we are dealing with has a name,RFI radio freqency interfearance,not that I undersood what I read but it said it be worse on Fm then Am,Iget to the beach I'm going to check all three carts see if AM is effected also..Dave

What about the voltage converter? Did you check the cables/ground?
