for the benefit of others who may read this:
Content from our messaging after I learn what the cart modifications are and intended use is..... "On 36v you will need 500 amps and 2g cables. On 48v you will need 400 amps and 4g cables. You can add 2 batteries in the rear to make 6v but it adds 150 pounds, rear seat adds 150 pounds and 2 adult riders in the back add 3-400 pounds = its a lot of extra weight + bigger tires = taller gear ratio + hills = you would be better served with a 500 amp control or at least a SPM 48400 = 460 peak amp output. Don't forget to upgrade your F&R switch too." I hope this helps Scottyb |
