WoW!...... Not sure what the heck happen here but for those who did not understand. I use to get 14 miles TOTAL on a charge. I am now barely making it home after about 9 TOTAL miles. Each voltage reading was at that said mile marker. The miles did NOT reset after each reading. It was a "continuous" drive so to speak. Sorry for any confusion but Crash had it correct. a TOTAL of 9 miles NOT 20.

After talking to Yoda Dave last night. He seems to think my batteries are NOT "bad" but about 75% and I am trying to demand 100% from them making me feel like that they are no good. Opinions on that? After further talking he recommended to extend my middle rack and replace my six 8volts with eight 6volts for an added 30 amp min run time. Opinions there as well?

Absolutely, I have two 48v carts. One a Club Car and one an EZGO. When I initially built the ezgo I put in 6 8Vs but the range was not great with my kid driving it, so I swapped it all over the 8 6V batteries and the range is simply incredible. I will do the same in the Club Car once those batteries are shot and I figure out how to add two extra batteries. Not a Club Car, but 8 6Volts Rule!

My thoughts, which are not worth much...

If I can only get 9 miles out of my batteries, then they are bad! I need to go further than 9 miles on a charge. I have 10 month old Trojan T-875s although I have never pushed to see how far they will go, I have around 85% battery left after 9 miles on flat terrain. I am sure I can easily get 30 miles out of them. 30 miles compared to 9 miles does not sound like 75% to me. I say this to illustrate the kind of numbers you should be getting with a good 6-8v pack.
