Re: Precedent electric battery drains in 2 DAYS!
Since you have not given any readings it is guesswork at this time. I woukd monitor voltage at the end ofthe charge to see if the batteries are getting a normal charge. At the end I think mine gets to about 65 volts.
Then I woukd check about again 4 to eight hours later to see what it is settling at, should be more like around 51/52 volts. Di you think its possible the OBC is faulty and not properly charging the pack? I would check that first. |

Re: Precedent electric battery drains in 2 DAYS!
I will check the obc when I get back. If it is bad, then that means it was bad originally, in 2009. I am the original owner, and this has been this way since day one. Thanks for the tip, I will check that.

Re: Precedent electric battery drains in 2 DAYS!
speedchaser, how do I check the obc, to determine if it is not charging all the way?
In the past, on other carts I have run a jumper wire from the yelloe fuse holder to the pack- to see if the cart charges. But I don't think I have heard how to check the obc for any other reason. Can you advise? thanks |

I would put my volt meter on the pack toward the end of a charge cycle. That would be when charger amp meter reads about 2 amps. I would check while charger is still charging. Should be showing around 65 volts.
