48v meter not reading right
So i purchased a 48v meter off eBay. It has 4 connection places on the back. + - C and R. I read online and I can't find out what goes to the R. I used the factory battery light wired and hooked those to the + and - on the back of the meter. And the C I ran to the key switch. It reads full charge the entire time even when batteries are ran down. Any ideas?

Re: 48v meter not reading right
The link you posted says the meter reads 49.31v as full charge, that is about 70% SOC. You may not be discharging the batteries enough to register.
The "R" terminal is for an optional Relay output, just leave it disconnected. I think a digital voltmeter gives you a better idea of SOC. |

Re: 48v meter not reading right
I think you are better off with a digital volt meter for your readings. It is much easier to take care of your batteries if you have precise readings. I got mine from Cart's Unlimited. There is a link in the site sponsor section. They are more expensive than the ebay models, but I went through 2 of those before I purchased one from Scotty.
