That was my next question...
So, in order for the batteries to "balance", should I leave it on charge until it zeros or should I disconnect & conduct several short charging sessions?
I like the 12v charger option, 6 amps or 2 amps?

Doesnt matter. You are just bumping it up so the regular charger has less to balance out


The stock charger should stop around 16 hours or so regardless

To expand on Sunoco's reply....Let the current full charge finish - then drive it a couple blocks (or if its too cold) leave it for 24 hours - then start the bump charge/cycle charge process. My thoughts are 2 amps if half hour - 6 amps (which may make your 12v charger hot/reset) for 15-20 min.
