Need engine for 92 club car
Hi, I was not clear on my previous post, All I will need is an engine, it is very corroded. Rest is Ok, including brakes, rear end, etc. I would like to find a replacement engine. Which engines would fit?
I have an excellent body, new ATV tires, looks great, Opinions? |

Welcome to the forum lajem....................
Just ask for a 92 Club Car engine.......... Everything will fit and connect right back in place. Unless of course you are planning on big blocking the cart. |

Re: Need engine for 92 club car
If you go back "stock" you know it fits and repair parts are fairly straightforward, but no it's not the least expensive. If your going for some other engine, choose wisely. I've seen everything from Harbor Freight cheapies to big Honda 2 cylinders done. You need to be a little creative to get some to fit and be functional. While the Chinese knock-off engines will have an attractive price initially, will parts be available in a couple years? You might want to look through the "Big Block" board to see peoples experiences with various engine swaps. You might even consider talking with a local machine shop about rebuilding what you've got.
