Orangeman6: I'm very picky and know how I want things to work :)

I already have a bank of 6 switches and don't really want to add another one.

Thanks for reading. I searched and searched and couldn't find a solution, but knew there had to be a way. Now this can be archived to help the next person trying to do the same.

Very good. I figured you had a reason for taking the time to figure it out. Just reading this thread is very helpful in understanding how certain parts of our carts work.

I'm glad you got it configured to your liking.

There are certainly many "right" ways of accomplishing the same task with our carts.

I think having different ideas help folks deciding which method works best for their particular application.

If You decide to add the $5 relay to disable the cart when the Lester charger is plugged to AC power, let me know and I can post a diagram on how to connect it.

Sergio helped me wire mine up - works great. Just yesterday I plugged the charger in while the cart key was switch on and the little buzzer warned me I also added a standard ammeter next to the charge port so I can see how the charge cycle is going at a glance - Between the in dash voltmeter and the ammeter I have a good picture of the charge cycles.
