Default 2000 ezgo cart, no run solenoid clicks

I am new to site , I recently purchased a 2000 ezgo cart I believe a txt
It has brand new fully charged batteries, it ran great for about
Two minutes then quit, solenoid clicks but seems to fall out almost
Immediately, I left it for a short time and jacked up rear axle
Solenoid clicked it ran and then dropped out again
Does this indicate a bad solenoid ? Batteries read 38.2v and don't seem to dropped under load .
Any help would be greatly appreciated
This site send to be the go to place
Thanks

Tell us which drive system you have.

Solenoid is probably okay.

The controller controls the solenoid in a PDS cart, so either the controller is bad, or something is telling it to de-energize the solenoid.

The wires highlighted in red on the attached schematic have to have battery pack voltage on them for the controller to keep the solenoid energized. but if you loose the voltage on any of them, the beeper sounds and the controller turns on max regen braking.

Try driving cart with controller in diagnostic mode. It might give you an error code when the cart misbehaves.

The text at the bottom of attached label, tells you how to put controller into diagnostic mode.

Thanks for reply, cart doesn't move so I can't drive
In diag mode, could it be a resistor fault I read online
That if voltage across solenoid big terminals isn't at least
3v difference it's a resistor fault ?
Is it common for controller to Have intermittent fault ?

After finally getting cart into diag mode the bleep
Codes were 3-2 I believe this to be solenoid welded
Is this a symtom of a bad controller or is this a common fault?
Help appreciated

Error code 3-2. Check the voltage on J1 Pins 4 & 5.
Should be full battery pack voltage. If it isn't, it may be causing the 3-2 code.

If the voltage on the solenoid's controller side large terminal is the same when the solenoid is energized and de-energized, the contacts are welded.
