Re: Light Kit Ideas
I went for the "Audi" drl look, $10 from amazon prime, it is very noticeable but I do use my head lights at night.

Re: Light Kit Ideas
Dunno yet as my doc-dc converter still hasn't arrived. Bench tested them and they are quoted at over 1000 lumens so I are confident they will do the trick. Only thing is they are 6 spots rather than the spot/flood combo version so the beam may be a little narrow.

Re: Light Kit Ideas
iMO I think you are better off using a dc-dc convertor so you don't unbalance your battery bank. Supply the dc-dc convertor on the load side of your solenoid. Then use a 48v relay so your standard loom to switch your 12v kit from the factory 48v switching.

When I drive between friends houses where the street lights work, it is fine, but these low power Leds really don't project enough light to be safe driving at speed if the outside light is not adequate. It is fine to drive around the back of the house at night in the dark to park, but the faster you go the more uncomfortable it feels. |

Re: Light Kit Ideas
I am very happy with the light output of just the one light bar. It is perfect for cruising around the subdivisions at 20mph and driving between the houses where there isn't any street lights
