Default can i use 2 stroke ezgo clutch on 4 stroke

HI im new here and need some help. i recently got a 1993 g9 cheap with no motor. i purchased a 13 hp honda motor which i plan to us in it. my question is can i use a clutch off a 2 stroke ezgo on it. machining the clutch itself to fit is no problem, i just dont know if it will function with the 4 stroke. anybody know any thing on this subject?

I doubt if it will work correctly. There is much more torque in a 4 stroke ofer a 2 stroke. Even in stock motor applications, there is a difference between 2 and 4 stroke clutches.

If machining is no problem, give it a try it may work OK. Post up some pics of your project.
