. . assuming you are referring to my post, when someone purchases a speed code 4 from Club Car, the dealer obtains those three codes from Club Car . . Club Car has a "magic" way of taking your vehicle's serial number and the serial number from the controller and "builds" those three codes . . these codes are cart/controller specific . . if you had a second CC cart and tried to use those codes in the second cart to obtain speed code 4 (using a programmer), they would fail . . after "x" number of failed attempts, the controller would lock up and would need to be sent to CC to be unlocked . . .

Does this mean there is nothing I can do to get more out of it other than up-grade?

Steve is right on the money with all of his information. Since you do have the decal, you SHOULD have code 4 installed, which means you should obtain 19.6mph on level ground. You should not be slowing down that much on hills with code 4. There are several things that could cause this such as brakes dragging, a battery problem (bad cell, dropout under load, not fully broken in, etc), or that someone has swapped the controller with one that is not set on code 4. Any CC dealer can hook up to your cart and tell you what you're set on.

There should be a controller serial number on your Code 4 sticker. Make sure that number matches the one on your controller

Thanks Jake and Fanatic. I'll check all of that. These are brand new T-875's.

Ok, then unless it got changed, the controller should be on code 4. A CC dealer com plug in their programmer and tell you if you are indeed on code 4 or not

I know yall are sick of me......
I charged batteries for 2.5 hrs. Batt. pack was 56v. before and 65.2 after . Got on cart and it ran great for one lap. (about 200 yda.). Stopped , put in reverse, all good. Put it back in fwd., it took off good then dropped to about 5-6 mph. Tried again, same thing.
HELP!
