I have a little 150cc dune buggy.

The roll cage on it has been tested many times

And the way it is connected to the buggy is the same way as the NEV.

In the front and the rear one peice of tube slides over the other for about 3 inches with a hole drilled through with a grade 8 bolt holding it together.

I will try to get some pics and measure the tube. Like I said It has been rolled and ran into many a tree and not much has happened to it in the way of dents and such.

How about a call on these cage joint clamps, solid stainless steel.. There used on utv's and such making the cage easily removable. So you guys think they would hold up? I have to have a removable cage on the lil Yamaha, it's gonna need one...

Yup! Not a removable one either!

That blow over didnt even tweek the sport cage. Stronger than I expected...Go figure..
