That's why the basket makes it so top heavy, and the basket adds about 9 inches.

When I put on turf tires, it brought the roof down to where I hit my head on the roof edge every time I got into the cart while golfing. I know, I'm a slow learner. But you get used to it one way and then you change it. And that roof edge is sharp. Do I sand the gel coat or slowly whittle off the top of my head?

You can lower the roof rack by several inches by removing the metal riser at the back. I left the front riser on, as that end was about 6 foot 11.
