![]() I have 7 batteries Trojan 105. The cable between battery 4 and 5 gets hot but not the rest of the cables. It looks the same and seems clean and tight, but get real hot on long rides while the rest stay almost cool to the touch. Any ideas??>

![]() I had the same issue and found a tiny edge of the heat shrink on the cable was in between the battery terminal and the lug. Cut it out and put it back on with some dielertric grease. No more issues after that.

![]() Move that cable to another location. If the heat moves with it, replace the cable. Better yet, replace them all, it's probably time for a new set.
