Default New owner of 2004 Gas, lots of questions

Only had it for a day but it looks promising. We only use it to run the country dirt road back and forth to the neighbors and family and I was not looking forward to battery troubles since we already have a 91 club car that eats them.

The owner before the gentleman I got it from tweaked on it and got the top speed up pretty fast. I am going to gps it today to see exactly what it is, I'm guessing 25-30. It runs very smooth and nice though.

My questions are, what do I need to know about this cart that could be problemmatic? The body is kind of aged but no cracks. I plan on putting a lift kit, tires/wheels and backseat on it.

Could anybody direct me to a good website to buy these and maybe recommend a brand for the lift kit and rear seat please?

Also is there any tips to governing the speed down, I'm not sure I even want to yet b/c I like the speed, but I'd like to at least know how if I change my mind.

Thanks

look at the site sponsors. The governor is under the rear access panel, you just adjust the bolt.
