while trying to get reverse going i notived the gob of eleticle tape under the key switch.. one yellow wire from a plug in terminal and one white wire.wound together with a piece of metal or solid wire or some junk when eliminated and the wires joined i got reverse ! AND a buzzer , awsome :) except buzzer in fwd also :( want buzzer for rev,kid using car arount pricey vehicles,,need to warn him.. cant find any info on the diode..how about a lain ol rectifier diode,,say 600 PIV and 20 amps ? or suggestion ? or what direction to hook it up ?? ![]() |

![]() There needs to be a diode between the two outersmall wire terminals on the key switch. This will allow current to the buzzer when in reverse but not while in forward.
Really, just about any diode for any cart will work. Just Google "golf cart diode" and any of those returns will work. |
