Default F/R Switch assembly yamaha g8

Looks like this thing took a beating. couple of broken resistor stems and some broken plastic, the switch keeps spinning in a circle. Is there any other interchangeable models that plug and play or with little modifications?

they look like they're running 250 bucks for NOS, seems kind of steep.

Thanks guys

I just bought a running G8 tonight that I am going to use for parts. I will sell the F/R switch if you are interested. It works perfectly.

G8s are the "oddball" Yamaha. If it runs and drives, I wouldn't part it out, I'd keep it

I can make more parting them out than putting new batteries in them and reselling. I wish I had a way to get batteries wholesale as I would really be in business then! Have a G2, 2 G8's, medalist, '02 DS, G16, 88 DS, 91 marathon all that need batteries.

I usually put few year old used batteries in my resale carts. They are usually half the price of new ones

The f/r switch on the G8 is the weak link but Scotty B has both the HD EZGO switch and the Reverse Contactor setup that are both reasonable and will be better.

Sorry man but in your area I don't have a clue. Probably the cheapest new batteries would be Sams Club. I get my batteries from Plowmans Carts and they are Trojans.

I'm in need of a F/R lever if you have one you'd part with. $ shipped to 29505.
Send me a p-m Thanks
