Default motor stud repair ?

i have a 73 ezgo motor in a cart , owner broke the stud off above the first nut , is there a way to repair this ?
motor has the motor brake mounted to it so a motor swap is not possible
removing it ... nightmare

yes that is going to be a nightmare. the easiest fix would be to put it under the first nut but that dont look like its not going to come either without braking . hope its a brush stud

I had one strip out. I had to pull the motor and disassemble it. I tig welded a new stud to the brush wires

well ... i did it , got a allen head bolt and tack welded it on
there was nothing to loose , short tacks on
4 sides letting it cool between tacks
clamped ground to 2 nuts

runs good took it for 30min ride and checked it all is good



ordering a set of cables for it

Bold move. Talented with a welder too. I tend to burn holes and have to create welded bridges. Then again, I never claim to be a welder I just so happen to have one....
