Default Losing the back-seat...

I want to get shed of some excess poundage, the back seat. We really don't need it. It's just an excuse for more of the neighborhood kids to pile-on....What rear top struts do I need? And what do i mount them to? I've found the stock-struts but any pics I've studied, I cannot figure out how or where they mount.

Why do you want to change out the rear shocks?

The rear roof supports for a 54" top attach to the front seat back mounting bracket.

The seat back mounting brackets are different for a one seat cart with a bag-holder in back and carts with a rear seat, but I believe the roof supports mount in the same place.

Which rear roof struts needed depends on which top is being installed.

Pretty sure I need the Item #: 602743 80-inch struts Johnny. But my seat backs are joined together with one flat-bar bracket, I assume, that replaced the stock bracket. I could do some fab-work and make it work, but I would destroy the rear-seat kit, which I can sell if i leave it alone. I need the PN# for the front-seat mounting bracket, which I cannot find. If anyone has one after a rear-conversion laying around. I would like to have it.

This is what is on my cart (Bag holder in back): https://shop.ezgo.com/products/Brack...k-Support.html

Here is a couple pictures showing how the roof supports mount to it, but I've got a 54" roof rather than an 80" one, but it looks like the 80" roof supports attach at the same place and the top of the square tubing bends to the rear to support the overhang.

602743 is the driver side, you'll also need a 602741 for the passenger side.
