Default Help with understanding my 2010 Drive?

I am very new to Yamaha. I know that I have a 2010 Drive and have downloaded the Owners Manual.

I can't see how the Head and tail iights get power to add any lights. How to open the lights etc.

I see many references here to G model numbers. how do I know if any of that information applies to my cart?

All in all I want to get more familiar with this cart - any suggestions where to get information?

unfortunately Yamaha doesnt offer wiring diagrams for their light systems. They call their lights "parts & accessories", and dont offer diagrams for "parts & accessories". Im a dealer, and i cant even get good ones... You will not find it in the service manual either . BTW, your "Drive" cart is also known as a G-29 (yamaha wont call it that if you ask them. Its "The Drive"!, but some of their internal literature calls it a G-29).

I have a 2012 that came with lights and I had to figure it out myself. Not sure all of them are even the same if dealers install the lights. Mine has a voltage reducer under the seat on the driver's side. The reducer converts 48V to 12V and it has a trigger wire that goes up to the key switch to turn it on when the key is on. I replaced my front lights with LED lights because the headlights were not bright enough to see where I was going at night. They only had 35W bulbs in them. I could have upgraded them to 55W halogen bulbs but I found a set of LED lights on EBAY that were a direct replacement for the entire headlight assembly.
