Will G14 shocks fit a G8?
I recently picked up my 1st golf cart. Wife was wanting one for around the house. I am totally new to carts and really had no idea what I was buying. When I went and looked at this one all I knew was that it was clean, went forward, backwards, the brakes worked, and it just needed a little TLC. So I bought it for $1000 from a guy that inherited it from his father in law. When I got it home I did a better inspection of it and notice a broke rear shock that had been rigged up to semi work. After finding serial number then decoding it. I figured out I have a 1990 G8. After some searches I'm finding it hard to find parts for but I've read in another post that some G14 parts will work on a G8. So the question is does G14 shocks work on a G8?

Well, as far as length, I'm not sure. But all Yamahas used the same attachment types on their rear suspension (with the exception of the new 4 wheel independent suspension). They should bolt in, but may make the rear end lower or higher than stock.
