Switch the run/tow switch to tow. Unplug the large 23 pin connector from the controller and plug it back in a couple of times to make sure the contacts are wiped. Switch the run/tow switch it back to run. Unplug the 4 pin plug from the 4 pin socket at the motor speed sensor on the motor, and connect your test meter to the black and orange wires at each end of the plug. Turn the key on and measure the voltage. Let me know what you read there.

Unless you have access to an RXV handset, you will not be able to run diagnostics. There is no reset option. If the controller is damaged, a handset will do no good. Where are you located?

Sorry, I just got home. 0 volts at that test point means the 5V logic section of the controller is fried, as I had suspected. Time to look for a replacement, sorry.

Hey there sean97072. I am in Washington DC right now. Great timing. I have been in DC for a national security issue, and I am now ready to leave early this morning. I will be passing through VA so I can look you up. I did not drive my car, I rode with a friend. If I had known you would be ready for a visit this trip, I would have brought more of my RXV testing supplies, but I do have some of my tools with me. I will try to call you before we actually get on the road.
