xct500 dcs fuse location
Ok guys just got my xct500 amp DCS controller from scotty today. and im trying to hook everything up. I can not get the fuse hooked up to the main battery positive side due to the battery terminal tops linkage in the way. Can I hook the fuse up to the main negative off the battery pack ? Also confused on which side to put the diode off the big terminals on solenoid.
Thanks |

Re: xct500 dcs fuse location
Put the fuse in 1 of 4 locations either end of the main + cable and either end of the main - cable. The regen diode installs on the big solenoid terminals on the Ezgo Sepex carts. The banded end of the diode goes towards the battery cable terminal. I hope this helps

Why does it matter where the large fuse goes? Anywhere in the bank should be fine. What am I missing?

Re: xct500 dcs fuse location
I prefer to see them outside of the pack. Less corrosion.
