Re: Rear seat 2003 Club Car Pathway
Quote:
The pieces for the armrest/footrest bolted in with no issues. The rear rollbar mount sticking thru the fender just clears the bottom of the seat. I had to remove the rollbar connecting piece between the main bar and the rear mount. The seat was mounted to a 1"x1" tube that is supported on the ends with a steel flat stock piece bent to connect the tube to the main rollbar. The seat back is a little higher than the kit normal install height, but I've ridden back there a few times and it's fine for me. I want to clean up the install, but it's been hard as we use the cart every other day to run 4 dogs for exercise. I'm thinking of connecting across the top of the rear rollbar mounts that stick thru the fender with a steel beam and eliminate the straps on the sides of the bagwell area to clean that area up for storage. Also, need to cleanup the seatback mount to the rollbar, the stubs do not get in the way of anything, but look odd. Maybe cut those off and grind down the welds, then use a strap around the rollbar to catch the 1x1 or just weld a tube in there. The rear seatback seems to flex a bit so maybe add a support beam behind it. Still looking how to rework the footrest mount so I can get the stock bumper back in there. |
