Holy spaghetti Batman.
That is hands down the most unusual wiring job I've seen.
Rip it all out. Series carts are pretty easy rewires compared to IQs
What is the accelerator hooked to? What controls acceleration?
One good thing,you've probably got 7 or 8 dollars worth of scrap wire.
And you could sell the anderson connector for a couple of bucks to someone doing a lithium conversion.
