Default Another thanks to David @ Revolution Carts

My grandson and his friends spent last weekend on the Moonbuggy. When my wife tried to use it on Monday she noticed something wrong with the steering. She called me to take a look. It wasn't just the steering, it was the whole front suspension!

I sent a photo to David and asked for his advice. He quickly replied "looks like it took a beating." Enough of the technical jargon, what's it going to take to fix it? Rather than change out damaged parts, he recommended a full replacement with a heavy duty All Sport lift kit. I noticed one of the rear springs was also bent so I replaced those with some heavy duty ones.

If you have ever added aftermarket parts to your cart, you undoubtably made multiple trips to the toolbox because it's a mixture of standard and metric bolts.

Once the suspension was restored I found the steering gear was broken. Although David said they were tough and often the tie rod end breaks rather than the gear, that wasn't the case here. He was able to send me a like new, used steering gear which worked great.

The best part is his customer service. He returned calls after his working hours to get my parts shipped. He even returned some texts, to answer some installation questions, while at a kids birthday party.

If you need parts or service, this is the man to call!

Wish I knew. They all deny any knowledge. Both front springs were broken, the upper control arm bent, and the steering gear broken. Must have hit something hard. I don't know how they got it home.
