Default RXV Sound Bar Wiring

Gentlemen,

I am new to the site and have a question about wiring my bazooka 24" Bluetooth sound bar. It is a very simple install with me needing to connect to a ground and power supply. I have hooked it to the same battery my lights have been wired to. Everything is great and works as it should but if I press the accelerator and the cart speeds up, the sound bar looses its power for a few seconds. Then as the cart levels off in speed, the sound bar returns.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

You need to get a 48-12 volt voltage reducer and wire the sound bar and lights to it.

Ditto. You are doing damage to the battery pack by pulling off just one for your accessories. It will imbalance the pack. Check with ScottyB on here at cartsunlimited.net for a reducer.

You also should run the power through a switch as recommended by bazooka so you can power it off when storing the cart. Apparently the Bluetooth is always on. Also let us know how it sounds.

Ok 10-4... that’s what I thought. I will order a reducer ASAP. Thanks so much for the help!

I tried to send ScottyB a message... I guess he doesn't receive PM's. I am trying to get a reducer for my cart.

I’m not sure about pm’s, but if you email him, he usually responds right away.
