Hello -
Jumping in on this; I have 36v also w/Altrax 400 amp controller - I have decided to replace my D&D motor with 2-speed EMP EP4-4001 & LR5 switch. We camp twice a year at a place where the grade can be as much as 58% - Chuck at EMP ran the numbers & told me i needed 90 FT. LB torques to make it up these hills with 800 lb (people) cargo. Going with this 2-speed setup, looks like I’ll be init for 600 plus S&H. Placing the order today – I’ll ad an update if anyone is interested after the install. Enjoy your day!! |
