2004 DS 36v?????

Hey guys, just happened to stumble across a guy selling a 2004 club car DS. I ran the Vin and come to find that it’s a 36 V car? I actually did not even realize they still made 36 V club car carts in 2004 but apparently they did. My question for you guys is what did the internals look like?. Is this a regen car, a series car, or what. It appears to have the old-style forward reverse lever and not the switch. What’s the deal with the cart........? I have not seen it in person. It has a Backseat and extended roof. Needs a complete freshening up. Batteries are stated to be 2015’s. Looking to build a campground cruiser

It is a resistor cart with the high current VGlide, not a good stock system, specially for low speed cruising.

2004 was the last year of a 36 volt.

I have one like it now. If I drive it, it will run cool as a cucumber because I'm either WOT or coasting. But, as Sergio said not really good for creeping along. Can be hard on and burn up the V-Glide.

On the other hand, these carts are easily upgraded to a controller. All in how you use it and the deal you get, and what you want to spend.
