Do I have the correct controller?
When I first bought my cart, my top speed was around 19-20 mph. I could easily beat a friend with a Yamaha 48v cart. I had the controller replaced last year, and just put new batteries in last week. My speeds have dropped to 16-17 mph. I originally thought that it was my batteries that were the problem, but I checked the speed after replacing them and I'm still running the lower speeds. I'm wondering if the shop put in a controller that has lower speed capabilities. Any ideas? The new controller is a Curtis 73326g06. Not sure of what was in there before. I also have a speed chip installed, but it doesn't seem to help now. Cart is 36v.

Re: Do I have the correct controller?
I would let the shop know. If I had to guess I'd say they installed a reman. There's no telling what you get with those.
