scotty, i zipped the monitor file in my previous post. i can get another one if needed though.

tires and wheels are completely stock and air pressure is 20lbs. i can very easily push the cart by hand

Your issue is the batteries are not holding the voltage under load and since your "Under Voltage Setting" is 46v, the Controller is limiting the current to keep the voltage above that number.

Lower Your "Under Voltage Setting" to 42v and it should allow for more acceleration and torque.

You also don't want to limit the torque at low throttle, try changing the torque curve so the Motor has more torque a lower throttle position:

Thanks everyone a million times, this is exactly what i needed. i made the changes suggested by Segio and it runs as expected. it pulls up steep hills without so much as flinching!
