2002 EZGO PDS keep getting a 3-2 code
I have a 2002 PDS thats running slowly and I keep getting the 3-2 code for a welded solenoid. I've changed it out 3 times now with brand new solenoids and each time it will run fine for a few minutes after changing but then goes back to being slow and throwing the code. Could this be an FET issue or other issue inside the controller? Trying to eliminate everything before I pull it and ship it off. Any info would be appreciated

Re: 2002 EZGO PDS keep getting a 3-2 code
I had the same issue. Check the 10 pin connector. I found that the RED wire, which I think was j5 pin, was actually corroded off (making a terrible connection). I pulled the pins out with Molex pin removers, replaced with pins that were nice and clean... problem permanently solved. This is most likely due to corrosion at some connection in the wiring. I went through this for a long while and I feel for you!

Ohh wow..yeah I checked and both that pin and the pin on the controller looked burnt! Gonna try and either clean or replace; I hope that it didn't damage anything on the controller side

It did not damage anything on mine. Once I fixed the pins... perfect!

you can fix that. Those molex connector male and female plus pins are cheap on amazon...

Re: 2002 EZGO PDS keep getting a 3-2 code
I just ordered some wiring stuff and one thing I ordered is the 10 pin molex plug with a wiring harness. Less that $20 plus shipping. When it gets in I will let you know if it was the correct one. I know the pieces are much cheaper but I have gotten lazy in my old age.

How comfortable are you with taking your controller apart? I have taken that controller apart... You can replace that plug

That pin is fubared. That socket can be replaced but not easy. If you get it apart you could always solder a wire to the pin inside the case then drill a hole through the plastic to run a jumper wire.
