Default Did i get a bad 12V converter or did I install it wrong?

So did I muck something up or did I get a bad converter? My converter worked for 4-5 days and now doesn't work.

I installed a 10L0L 30 amp Golf Cart Voltage Reducer Voltage Converter last Saturday. I hooked it up to the carts on/off switch, to a fuse box with an integrated negative bus bar, then to some 3-pole LED switches and then to (a) LED headlight/taillights (which had been previously installed by the dealer) and (b) LEDGlow underbody lights (which I installed last weekend as well). I ran separate + and Ground wires for each circuit to the switches and on to the lights.

Everything worked great for 4-5 days and then yesterday evening I turned on the cart and went to flip the switches and nothing. No LED light on the switch, no headlights, no underbody glow. I wasn't using any of the lights when I driven the cart the time before so I don't know if the converter went bad during a drive or when I turned the cart on.

I checked the converter and it's getting 51V from the battery back. It's getting 51V from the green on/off control wire (when the cart is turned on) but only nothing comes out (250mv on my multimeter). None of the fuses are blown (the 15A on the yellow wire from the + battery back) & none of the fuses in the fuse box going to the switches.

I ordered a new converter but before I install it I want to know if I somehow ruined it or if I just got a bad one.

Sounds like you got a bad one. Just to make sure disconnect the 12v supply at the fuse panel and check with your ohm meter if you have any shorts, with everything off it should read open or OL. As you turn things you should have some resistance but the meter shouldn't read 0 ohms.
