Slow forward on 1993 club car, great speed reverse
Got a 1993 club car 36V rather cheap that had no batteries.
Ended up purchasing 6 new batteries. Cart wouldn’t go. Tested and replaced selenoid. Got the cart going, but really slow going forward. Seems to be getting full power while reversing. I saw posts saying to check speed switch. Can’t find the switch, probably in my face but don’t realize what i am looking for. Any other thing to check? |

Found solution, inverted 2 power wires going to the f/r were inverted.
Once switched around, all is good. |

Glad you got it worked out. Cart is setup for half speed reverse so the wiring makes sense.
