A handy fix for a wrung off motor stud
If you wring off a motor stud on the armature brushes you can just change the brushes and back to new again. But if you wring one on the field windings you're in trouble. BUT, if you still have the base nut and can get it off leaving about a 1/4 inch of good thread, this works plum dandy to repair. It's 5/16ths female brass on one end. Tighten that down as your new base nut and you've got a whole new neat connection for the cable. https://www.ebay.com/itm/193247422698
