02 club car DS solenoid clicking but won’t move
I have a 02 club car ds 48V. I was using it to pull a limb in the yard and it spun into the dirt because the limb was heavy. It instantly quit running. I let it cool off and the next day charged the batteries and tested them all and they were fine. The solenoid still clicks when I mash the pedal but it won’t move. Could this be the electric motor? What else could I check myself before I take it to a shop?

Re: 02 club car DS solenoid clicking but won’t move
I'm assuming it's a series drive system. Telling us the vehicle serial number would help with a more accurate diagnosis, but assuming it's a series car, more than likely it has a melted F&R switch. Look for pooling of the plastic around the connections on the F&R switch where the large cables are connected. If the switch gets hot and the plastic melts, the connections pull away from each other and the connection becomes broke, and the car stops running.
