Re: CC DS 36 resistor coil cart
Not positive, but this should be your wiring diagram:
https://buggiesgonewild.com/attachme...8&d=1181418374 Get two alligator clip jumper wires and carefully connect your voltmeter to the main pack negative and positive. Tape them so they don't come loose. Close the seat and set the voltmeter where you can see it. Check voltage before pushing the go pedal. Then push the go pedal and see what the voltage is when it tries to go. Let me know what that is here. Also, what type Interstate batteries are they? Are they deep cycle golf cart batteries or regular 6 volt automotive batteries? Are all the resister coil experts on vacation??? |

Re: CC DS 36 resistor coil cart
Do as Tom47 suggested but do it on each battery...Clip your leads to each battery and floor it..Any 6v battery that drops below 5v under load is bad...Also check your F/R switch and the cables attached to it for corrosion and heat damage..A lot of amps pass thru that switch...

Re: CC DS 36 resistor coil cart
I am on vacation, and not an expert at anything, lol.
If the batteries check out good, I would next check the cables for a break or bad connection in one. Next check the contacts in the v Glide. Next, rare but I have had a bad, clicking solenoid do this too. |
