2004 Club Car Transporter Refurb Project (photos)
Thought I would share. Got 3 teenage boys in addition to me, the wife and a dog so the old 4-seater DS had to go. Found a 2004 Transporter for cheap and thought I would do some upgrading.....

Re: 2004 Club Car Transporter Refurb Project
The cart had a aftermarket 400amp controller and higher HP motor already so I didn't have to mess with that thankfully.
Replaced all the batteries with T-875's. Bought a new 120" top. Some nicer wheels & tires. Did a little body prep & painting. Waiting on some new seats being done by an upholstery lady I know (front, middle and rear). Doing two-tone - cream and coffee color Going to do some faux teak SeaDek on the floor in lieu of the rubber mats from Club Car. ...Will post some final pictures once she's done. |

Re: 2004 Club Car Transporter Refurb Project
One thing I can use some help with......
I need two of these for the middle row seats. The part number is #101888501. The CHEAPEST I have found them online is $311 each! Over $600 for two crappy little armrests. If any of you know a good golf cart salvage yard where I might be able to pick up some used ones, please let me know! Thanks! |
