Default 48V power issues

Hey Everyone,

I have a 2016 Club Car Precedent 48V cart, with the standard Club Car charger. I just got all new batteries, installed them with new 4ga cables, and installed a new digital volt meter. I did all of this because my old batteries were, well, old... and my cart went from 19mph down to 17 mph, would only last an hour at best, and often would pulse when driving. I've had the cart for 2 years and all of this was new so I thought it would be time to upgrade. I knew the batteries were older so I thought it would be good to change them and while I was at it upgrade my 6ga cables to 4ga cables. Previous battery pack (after hours on the charger) would only get to 48.7-49.2 volts. I installed brand new Duracell batteries and once installed (not fully charged) they were already reading 49.9V so I felt confident about the swap. *Note - I haven't measured them this morning so I don't know what the full voltage is after a full charge.

Okay, so I get everything installed, turn on the cart, and my battery gauge is ready 80% charge. I take the cart of for a 2 minute test drive and the pulsating is still happening and it feels like it is dying already. Do I have another issue that I need to deal with? Does any of this ring any bells for anyone?

Default Re: 48V power issues

Update from this morning: I measured the batteries after a full charge and they are reading at 51.1V which is what I would expect them to be. Still a pulsating issue when driving so it almost feels like something is robbing or interrupting the power somewhere.
