2008 club car 48v key switch wiring
I bought a 2008 club car transporter 4, 48v from an auction. It had the keypad lock switch on it from club car. Since I didnt know the code I cut it out and tried to wire it back the best I knew. It does run and charge, but the battery light indicator stays on all the time and it goes whether the key is in the on or off position. I cant get the head lights to work either. I see only 4 wires to the key switch thats 2 pronged. The wires are green, white, purple and blue. Possibly more back there I dont see. I cant find wiring diagrams for this year /type of cart. Anyone have information this this?
Also a way to test batteries? They are stamped 2018. They might need to be replaced which I want to do with lithium. Any info on this is appreciated also. Thanks |

Re: 2008 club car 48v key switch wiring
Green and blue are the only ones you really need to worry about.
White and purple may be wires that go to lighting or to a voltage reducer. The battery light coming on with the key is a bit odd, but there could be a reason for it. We would have to know if this cart is an IQ+ or if its a series cart. What are the first 6 digits of the serial number? |

It is an IQ plus. JS0802 is the first six of the serial number.
