why is oil comming out of side of fuel pump
I have a 1990 club car and have recently upgraded it with new seats and paint. I havnt ran it in a year and when I started it back up it ran until the fuel filter broke from dry rot. After fixing that I noticed it was leaking oil from the side of the fuel pump from what looks like a breather, a brass area, on the side. I ran it for about 10 minutes and it leaked out about a 1/8 of a cup of oil. do I have a bad pump?

Re: why is oil comming out of side of fuel pump
Just fixed my problem, there is a small hose on the motor behind the carb this is apparently a blow by hose. this hose was cloged with a spider egg and mudd. cleaned out this hose and wa la the fuel pump stopped spitting out oil.
