Thanks a ton for the info. I`m getting new batteries within two weeks,so this info is what I really needed. BTW, I have a 94 CC,36v. The trojans were all dated 99,when I took them them out. They were not mantained very well,I got the cart used about a year ago

yo scotty,

My batteries are new and I only drive it for a 10 minutes and a time, a few times 20 minutes. I charged them fully after each run. is that ok? I dont think I brought them down to 75%. I just read your break in thread. Should I change what I am doing?

thanks

Eric

WHo's in charge of watching this thread ?
Eric there is such a thing as recharging too often. I think you should use a voltmeter and see how many 10 minutes trips it takes to bring the pack down to 60-70% and do that for a while until you feel like they are broke in and then start recharging only when they are 50%... Batteries only have so many recharge cycles in their life ~ Don't spend em too fast

BigFoot, that was the intended purpose I'm glad I could help. I print this out and hand it to my new battery customers along with the SOC chart and the battery fill picture.... It gives them something to reference weeks later
