Default 93 Gas Club Car fuel issues

When a gas motor floods and quits running (minimal coughing or sputtering), is there always a strong smell of gas? My motor will run for a while, get hot and will quit running. I don't smell gas at all. I checked for spark when it quit and it looks good. I removed the gas line and there is plenty of fuel pumping. There is also gas in the bowl. Do these motors ever vapor lock? I have had the carb off twice to clean with carb cleaner and a very fine wire off of an ID tag.

if it sit's for awhile cool's a little bit and then start's backup run's a little then shut'off again check your valve guige seal's c.c. had this problem with oil leaking past the seal's and when it get'e hot will hold the exhaust valve open. remove the head and clean off the carbon on the valve replace seal's with new one's and you will be good to go. you can usually be able to reuse the headgasket if you are careful taking the head off
