Default fe 290 not stoping

i just rebuilt the fe290 motor in my '92 club car. the motor runs great, but does not shut off when releasing the acclerator pedal. ive checked all the wiring on the engine and im sure its all correct. pulling fuse and disconecting battery well not stop it, only chocking it out. anyone have any ideas? im at a loss.

It could be a bad kill switch micro in the little black box.... at the end of your throttle peddle linkage.... open the box. The kill switch is the micro switch on the bottom of the stack.

i tested that micro, its good. its gotta be something on the motor i got crossed up, nothing on the cart wiring side will kill the motor. i guess i am going to have to take every thing off to get down to the motor wiring.
thanks for the quick reply. ill let you know if i figure it out.

When you start it, does it fire up as soon as you turn the key or do you still need to press the accerlerator to make it start?
