Default txt rebuild

ok just got done stripping and cleaning a 2000 txt gas cart. There are no wires or anything left. What i want to do is find a rear and motor for it buy a 400 amp controller. The problem is that there is no fnr switch and i will have to get the its throttle for it. what else do i need and is there any wire harness that i need. could some one give me a list of what i will need. and maybe where i can see pics of how the wires hook up. Also i have a 91 marathon i could take all the electronics off and put on the txt but i think yall said that the txt elctronics are better. does any one have any ideas.

You are probably going to be into this project more than it is worth by the time you get it to run..... In my opinion. Sell the gas frame and go buy an electric cart. .... hope this helps.

Default Re: txt rebuild

well got board and took everything out off the maraton(spirt) and put on the txt that was gas. Built new battery trays and took the rear and motor out of the martaton and put in the txt which raised the rear 3in because of pad location. Now i got to build a lift for the front.
The only problem is that the txt must have more pedal throw then the maraton because the only way i could get the pot box adjusted right was for the ohms to stay at 0 till 1/2 throttle then at full throttle the ohms are 5.57ohms.
I will post some pics off the build *** soon i figure out how too.
Also the cart picked up about 1 1/2 mph just cause of the lighter body
