Thanks EZGO, If you have a torch it doesn't take long at all. Just heat that lug up just enough for the solder to melt and maintain the heat until your solder melts completely and the cable is completely inserted. It wasn't that bad. Just don't overheat the lugs and solder. I still have quite a few thing I want to do, but the cart is useable and that makes the kids happy.

Here are a few pics. I still need to recover my seat. It will be an olive drab marine vinyl. Lift and 26" tires coming soon.

Orderd my lift kit, HD rear leaf springs and rims from Everything Carts the other day. My rims are supposed to be at my house when I get home from offshore on Wed. I will have to wait until Thursday or Friday for the lift and springs to arrive. Guess what I'll be doing this weekend. I take pics of the finished product. My seat has been recovered since the last photos and it makes a world of difference.

I took a pic of my cart before I put the lift and tires on for comparison. It looks awesome now. I am impresses with the torque still. I was planning on getting PQ to rewind it. They said it would give between 20 and 25% more torque. I am not sure I need it. I did however blow my 175amp fuse.

Can anyone tell me if it would be alright to go with a 200amp fuse, or what would be the biggest amp fuse that would be safe to use. I was attempting to climp a very steep hill and my fuse blew. I would rather this not happen in the future. Any help would be appreciated.

I would like to say thanks to this forum and the great people on it that helped me along with my rebuild. I am thoughroughly satisified. At this point I have about $1900 in the cart and it will outperform any stock cart with a lift. I love it.

I would also like to thank the sponsors of BGW. I will continue to order my parts from ya'll and thanks for the great service.

Thanks,
David J.

26"x12"x10" Maxxis Mud Bug tires. 10"x8" rim with 3" backspacing. The lift is a Allports 5" High 5". I love the look and it drives well too. I also put the H/D rear leaf springs on it. 16" from bottom of floor board to the ground.

Not sure of the tractor model. It belongs to my neighbor. He is 67 and it was his father in-laws many years ago. He lets me use his shop to work on all of my projects. Great neighbor. Thanks for the compliment on my cart. It makes such a big difference being lifted with big tires.
