Default How do I adjust the play in my steering on 2000 txt

Ok I am getting about 45 degrees of play in my steering wheel was not an issue when I was running stock system going only 16 mph but now that I have upgrade my system currntly running 22mph gets m a little pucker factor when I need the percesion steering. So the question that I am asking is can you adjust and if you can how. Since it is a 2000 model it has the old steering assembly located away from the front axle.

I have a 2001 TXT with the same problem. Cart runs 31 MPH and the steering is all over the place at that speed. There is a bushing in the steering assembly that wears out and probably needs to be replaced. I think they are about 20 bucks or so. I would also check the other steering components but the bushing is probably the culprit. I'm looking into haveing a rack & pinion system installed. Not cheep but much better. Hope this helps....
